Shannon Rainey, MS, LPC-S
Owner/Clinical Director
Shannon Rainey is a Licensed Professional Counselor, is board qualified as an LPC supervisor, and has been practicing for over 20 years. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master’s degree from Mississippi State University. Shannon has worked with individuals and families in a variety of settings. After beginning her career at the Mississippi State Counseling Center, she later served as Clinical Director at Diamond Grove in Louisville, MS. There, Shannon gained experience with children and adolescents, teaching patients and their families to cope with psychiatric issues. In 2006, Shannon took the role of Program Coordinator for Oak Arbor in Hattiesburg- a transitional living facility for men and women dealing with co-occurring addiction and other mental heath disorders. This included managing a major federal grant specializing in services for homeless veterans with similar struggles. Finally, in 2008, Shannon answered the call to pursue counseling as a ministry. Shannon is happily married and is the mother of 4 wonderfully spoiled children, a poodle named Lily Mae, and second mom to countless neighborhood kids. We’d be remiss not to mention, she has a grand-dog named Martin- who is even more spoiled than all the rest.

Dr. Allen Bonner, DPC, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Dr. Allen Bonner, DPC, LPC hails from Waynesboro, Mississippi. Allen obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from William Carey University in 2008, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Carey in 2011, and the prestigious Doctorate degree in Professional Counseling from Mississippi College in 2018.
Allen worked at William Carey University for over a decade, during which time he obtained his License in Professional Counseling. While at WCU, Allen worked in various capacities before serving as a counselor, Disability Services Coordinator, and instructor of psychology. Allen is a trained Prepare/Enrich Facilitator which assists couples for healthy relationships. He also works with individuals of all ages, helping clients and families create an action plan on how to overcome various life situations. Allen is dedicated to helping clients navigate their past and deal with the present in order to gain a full perspective on life.
Allen resides in Petal, MS, with his wife and 3 daughters.
Rebecca Hartfield, LCSW
Licensed Certified Social Worker
Rebecca Hartfield is a two-time graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi (2001, 2005), is a Licensed Certified Social Worker and a Board Approved LCSW Supervisor. Prior to joining March, Rebecca worked for over 20 years in the field, beginning her career with the Mississippi CPS Adoption Unit and Family Preservation Unit. Rebecca then transitioned to Mississippi Children’s Home Services working in Therapeutic Foster Care Services. Rebecca served at Forrest General Hospital before becoming the Hattiesburg Office Director for Bethany Christian Services (later Lifeline Children Services.) While at Lifeline, she was the Clinical Director for Mississippi until 2021.
Rebecca is skilled in working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents and children. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, grief, bereavement, loss, career, burnout, attachment, betrayal and divorce.
Rebecca is a Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner (TBRI) from the Karen Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University, a Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGP) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
Rebecca is married, mom of two active boys, and is a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Anna Boyd, MA, LPC, RDT, RYT-200
Licensed Professional Counselor
A Texas native, Anna is a licensed professional counselor, registered drama therapist, and registered yoga teacher. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Mind/Body Medicine where she is researching the impact of prayer for burnout with on-call healthcare professionals. Anna has a certification in trauma-informed yoga and is excited to offer classes to reduce the physical symptoms of anxiety and stress. Therapeutically, she enjoys working with a broad range of clients, and she specializes in women’s health across the lifespan, particularly pre and postpartum.
Anna received her master’s degree in Drama Therapy from New York University, where she worked as the expressive arts liaison to facilitate the integration of the dance, music, art, and drama therapy departments.
Anna has worked with a myriad of populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has practiced counseling and creative arts therapy in New York City, Houston, and now Hattiesburg. She is the founder of the Pine Belt Playback Theatre, an improvisational theatre troupe that uses improvisation to tell stories. She and her husband attend Venture Church and spend their days cooking, being outdoors, and spending quality time with their Goldendoodle, Wilson, and their Shih-Poo, Cooper.
Marni Hill Yarrington, PhD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Marni Hill Yarrington is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She was raised in Minnesota, and travels north for snow each year! She received her doctoral degree from Brigham Young University, where she interned at the Counseling and Career Center. She has provided therapy, consultation, and assessment services for all ages (including early childhood education groups and a non-profit family organization in Nebraska; and in private practice in Texas and Mississippi. She also has served as an adjunct faculty at several universities.
Here at March, Marni conducts psychological assessments for our clients, to help with diagnostic clarification and treatment. She listens to people’s stories and helps them better identify how they can heal and progress in their lives.
Julie Emfinger, MSN, PMHNP
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Julie Emfinger is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and received her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in psychiatric mental health from the University of South Alabama. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, she received an associate in arts degree from Jones County Junior College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from William Carey University. Julie spent most of her bedside nursing career in the emergency department. She worked at South Central Regional Medical Center Emergency Department for over fourteen years. She also worked part time at Wayne General Hospital Emergency Department for four years. Julie spent three years working in a crisis stabilization inpatient facility. The majority of her clinical hours were spent at Coastal Family Health Center in Gulfport, MS.
Julie is a member of The Social Club Committee in Laurel, MS, which is a nonprofit organization that promotes acceptance and provides ability inclusive recreation and socialization opportunities for those with various needs. She attends Venture Church in Jones County.
Lynley Park, MS, P-LPC
Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor
Lynley graduated from William Carey University with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and currently holds a Provisional license in Professional Counseling. Having previously worked at two churches in Mississippi as a student and college minister, she has experience working with adolescents to young adult aged individuals.
Lynley has a heart for helping individuals and couples of all ages navigate through trauma, loss, depression, and anxiety.
Lynley currently resides in Hattiesburg with her amazing husband, and has a sweet dog named Ollie.
Stephen Nevill, MS, P-LPC
Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor
Stephen Nevill (known to most, simply as Nevill) grew up in a military family that eventually settled in Mississippi and quickly became his beloved home state. After high-school, Nevill attended William Carey University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Religion before going on to receive his Master’s in Christian Counseling.
Nevill offers general counseling for adults and adolescents (depression, anxiety, trauma, grief), family and marriage counseling, life coaching and career planning.
Nevill’s goal is to inspire positive changes that help his clients overcome the mountains in their lives.
Heather Necaise, MS, LPC-S
Licensed Professional Counselor
Heather Necaise is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is board qualified as an LPC supervisor (LPC-S). She has been in counseling practice for over twelve years. Heather’s training, research, and professional experience includes working with clients experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders. Over the past decade, she has worked with individuals and families in primary treatment, transitional treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and aftercare. Additionally, Heather has extensive experience coordinating treatment for children, adolescents, and adults facing acute psychiatric issues.
At March, Heather has worked extensively with those struggling with anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and many other approaches in her work with clients. Heather’s focus is on treating the whole person to promote healing and growth.
